
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently working with CNBC. She is the anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street' (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk In the Street' (CNBC). While she's an Ohioan and was not particularly interested in the world of markets or currency during her time in college. When she was a student at New York University, she worked as an intern for an online startup called ForexTV.com. This was where she gained the first experience of business news. In the following years, she completed an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The internship was for the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. Then she came back to America and began working in New York at Bloomberg. In the end, she was a anchor for a TV show. In December 2013, she was hired by CNBC as a correspondent. Prior to her appointment at 'Closing Bell the show, she was co-anchoring 'Worldwide Exchange' and Power Lunch'. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. She is among the most well-known business journalists today. Since her arrival at CNBC her main concern has been global consumer news.
