Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse as well as Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Her parents are from Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion in the performing arts from an early age on stage. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was also auditioned for TV and newspaper advertisements. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater following her graduating. Bell, who graduated in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. The same year, she was the first to be credited with Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell was as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
