Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She has Italian heritage (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda is the youngest of California's children was raised in her home in the San Francisco Bay Area. When she was ten years old, she became enthralled with acting after performing a musical role during her school's Christmas play. Lily James is a stage name for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on the 5th of April, 1989. Her acting career began in the year the year 2010 when she appeared in the British TV series Just William, in which she was a student at the London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella was her breakout performance following her appearance playing the character Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James was later cast as the Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and also appeared in a variety of films, including the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Then, in 2022 her performance as Pamela Anderson was recognized with an Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
