Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1977) was born in Campinas, So Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are some of her most notable films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime until March 2020. The analyst she is working with currently managing the Assassination Witness project, and is one of the core members of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. In her work at GI TOC, she focuses on disappearances, assassinations and other violence of all kinds in the contexts of illegal economies. Her interests in research also encompass the effect of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights as well as the laws and policies. Ana Paula holds an LL.M cum laude of International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She trained as a lawyer and worked for 4 years at the public law litigation company. Her previous experience includes was employed in non-governmental organizations headquarter in Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
